RE-011A NOISE
I just install brand new BRIDGESTONE RE-11A tires and i find that it where noisy when they lost traction, i having 2 sets of RE-11 before and they where very silent event when they lost tractions, it is normal for the RE-11A or if it's only because they are new?

Where did you find Bridgestone RE-11A tires? They were discontinued about a year ago. And I need a set for my S2000!
Noisy meaning tire squeal?

I'm really looking for RE-11A tires, though, not RE-011A tires. 17" OEM sizes.

Tire squeal yes
I work at tire shop and i buy it when they came out
First version was for canada only, RE-011A, later for the rest of the world, the name was changed to RE-11A ;-)

Hey Chuck, if you can find a set "up here" i can bring them down for you on my next Ohio trip.
I work for a company out of Mentor and have been there six times in the last three years.
PM me if you find something.
Merci!

I'm probably going to replace the RE-11A tires by Labor Day. I'm willing drive for a set in OEM 17" staggered sizes.
This is one of those "I really like what I have and am afraid I won't like the available replacements." things.

Conventional wisdom is that these tires are just noisier at the limit than most other extreme-street tires. So as long as you're not experiencing any other bad behavior from them, consider it normal.
