Are those the pink aluminum ones from Science of Speed?

The thick ones go in the back.

Do I need these on anyways?

Where can I get a replacement (starting my search now)?

Are plastic ones better then metal?

Plastic ones won't work for shit if you put them on backwards also.

You need em.

Plastic ones crack. Aluminum ones can seize if you don't use anti-seize first. Contact Science of Speed if you want aluminum. Check with the wheel vendors for plastic ones.

I use Rays lug nuts with my Prodrives with no problems.

if you do a search, xviper wrote up on hubcentric rings stating that they are not really necessary. the purpose of the hubcentric rings are to make sure the wheel fits properly. as long as you tighten your lugs in the star pattern you are fine. i've been running my prodrives with no hubcentric rings for well over a year now with no issues.

xviper actually didn't take a stand on them, but he did post some good info: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry7447147

And from the "other" site: http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=1...ight=hubcentric

From a practical standpoint, I don't think anyone who can't figure out which rings go in the front and which should go in the back should be trying to tighten aftermarket rims without utilizing rings. No offense to the OP.

None taken. I applied some backwards thinking when I made a decision. I know the hub on OEM rims for the rear, will not mount on the front due to the smaller diameter. Therefore, I didn't think it would require thicker rings.
