Hey guys

I'm getting a rattling noise in my rear end when i take relatively sharp corners. its not at all dependent on speed... just coming out of a right turn in a parking lot will cause it sometimes. it really just sounds as if something is loose, but i can't tell for sure what part of the car its coming from. It doesn't happen when i go over bumps, which makes me wonder if its even suspension related, and the car rides fine even at highway speeds.

any recommendations for areas to check if i were to crawl under there and take a look at it?

after jacking up the car on both sides of the rear my friend and i couldn't find anything obviously wrong, although there seems to be just a little bit of play in my axles (not sure if thats a big deal but i'm positive its not the cause of the noise)

after finding nothing we went for a drive so my friend could hear the sound - he maintains up and down that its the shocks and they're just squeaking and shouldn't be a problem.

my car only has 43xxx miles - could my rear shocks be worn out already?
