Default Rattling noise from exhaust

Well hopefully this will be an easy fix...but I know it probably won't be. For the past couple days I have noticed a really bad rattle noise coming from the driver side exhaust canister. I looked under the car, theres nothing loose or dragging. Is it possible for the canister to be bad?

Also I have noticed a serious decrease in power when engaging Vtec, almost like the car stutters for a moment....I'm hoping thats just a minor side effect of the exhaust issue. I guess its like the domino effect theory: one thing goes, then another and another and so on.

Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Buddy

craw under ur car.. bang on the cat.. if it makes ne noise other than nothing... like ratteling.. thats ur prob.. its ur cat breaking apart.. which would cause peices to get stuck in ur mufflers... so in that case.. in order to fix that prob... ud have to cut the muffler open... and shake the peices out!!!!
