Default Rattling like bearing noise

I recently began noticing a bearing noise during acceleration, but it is only intermitent. When the noise does occur it sounds like metal on metal tapping. This is NOT the stock or aftermarket clutch buzz which i have been told before. If you have any advice or possible solutions i am open for all suggestions.

hub, if not hub and bearing. check and see. lift the wheel up with jack, and move the tire/wheel. If it moves, your bearing or whole hub assembly. A tight hub will not budge.

if that isn't the case (most likely will be) then try to source the area and conditions (rpm etc) to help diagnose better

ok well i can tell you that when it does occur its usually around three to four thousand rpm in mostly second and third gear.

is the noise definitely from wheels? or which area is it? also when you are in 2nd or 3rd at 3-4k if you put in the clutch does the noise go away?

Yeah, is it speed- or RPM- dependent? Then it's the drivetrain or the engine. That could help diagnosing it. It could be a CV joint on its way out too...
