Rattling/grinding sound
I've recently noticed that I get a grinding sound and feeling in my gas pedal when I turn left. I thought it was my brakes but I checked everything and they're fine. Wheel/tire clearance is not a problem either.
I also get a rattling/shaking feeling from that side when I'm on the freeway, only when I floor it in higher rpms and unload the front suspension. The sound is similar to the rattle ball in a spray paint can, but sporatic.
I did a couple searches and some said it might be the wheel bearing going bad, but I havent found anything conclusive. Any idea on what it might be? And how can I see if it really is the bearing?
Thanks.

elevate the car, spin the wheel and see if you can hear anything.
also grab the tire on opposite sides and see if there's any free play between the wheel and hub.
on the road, get up to a medium speed and see if turning the car to the left and to the right changes the sound at all.

Thanks for the reply.
I've gotten it up to medium speed and there is a noticable grinding turning left. Actually, even at low speeds I can hear something.
I'll get the car off the ground and try the other things you mentioned.
