Rattling in the dash
I don't personally own an S2000, but my father does. I love that car.
Unfortunately, we bought it used, a 2001 model, and it came with a slight hitch; there is a rattle eminating from the dashboard which seems to be coming from around the passenger side airbag area. Imagine a little metal ball in a plastic can, rattling around. That's pretty much what it sounds like, as if something is bouncing around within the dash. We've taken it to Honda dealerships for this problem while its still under warranty, but it seems that they can't find the problem (or they claim completely fixing it, but the problem returns as soon as we drive it off the lot). Normally I would live with this, but my father's last "sports" car was a BMW, so he is pretty unhappy with the rattle.
The rattle only occurs when there's a sudden jarring of the suspension, like when you run over a small bump at higher speeds. As the roads around here are pretty rough, we hear it alot.
If any of you have dealt with this sort of problem before, and have some information on how to deal with it, I'd be greatly appreciative. The dealerships around us are no help, and they seem to be trying to scam us into buying more (useless) parts from them to help allievaite the problem. Kinda sad to see that the Nissan dealership we bought it from is more interested in fixing it than the Honda guys are.

Do a search about this (if you haven't already). I seem to remember someone having a similar problem and it turned out to be the rear view mirror was loose on its mount.

Yes, check the mirror. My first rattle turned out to be the mirror, and the sound reflecting off the glass made it sound like it was coming from the dash.
My second rattle was definitely the dash - I could gently pound the top of the dash just left of the airbag with my closed fist and make it rattle. (tinkle-tinkle) I read another owner had a similar sound and it turned out to be a loose airbag bolt and the washer was vibrating. The dealer had to remove the dash to fix it.
My dash rattle stopped after a few thousand miles so either the bolt fell off or vibrated itself tight again.

I have a sqeak, that the dealer says is coming from the dash. Warranty will fix it but they have to remove the dash.
Which means damage to something else.
Not worth it for a sqeak in a Honda.
