Rattle Noise, Its Baaaaaack!
My 04 has 600 miles on it and seems to have redeveloped an annoying rattle right around the drivers side a-pillar area. Seems to be somewhere under the dash. It was there for the first 50 or so miles, then went away. Now its back. Its not the top latches, all secure there. Any ideas? Happens when I hit bumps in the road. Theres plenty to hit here in PA. Cant really describe the noise, sounds like somethimg is loose.

Yea, I think it is, but I'm pretty picky about noises like this. Have an appointment next week at the dealer, but you know how that can go....

Hmm...interesting. I had the exact same rattle I thought was coming from the A-pillar or extreme left side of my dash. I have 2k miles on my 04, and my rattle started around 1k miles. After being at the dealer for 2 days, they found the noise coming from behind the instrument cluster and were able to fix it using some felt tape. Dealer said it was a royal PITA to pin-point the exact problem location. Good luck.

I had the same problem, I finally pin-pointed it by holding down the center section of my steering wheel (horn area). When I do this the rattling stops, I have not brought my vehicle in yet under warranty, but at least I know where my rattle is coming from. I don't want the dealer to be messing around and tearing my interior down just to find a rattle. Don't trust anyone with my baby!
I have MY04 with 2600 miles.

Is it the water in you screen washer bottle? Because the S2000 lacks any insulation, when the water level in the screen washer bottle is anything but full, you can hear a clok, clok, clok noise when moving slowly on uneven surface or up and down multistorey car parks. When you fill the bottle completely the noise disappears. It drove me crazy at the start, until I found what it was. I was astonished when I discovered the cause.
