Rattle/Hum when clutch isn't in
Hi guys,
I just got a 2006 S2000, with 24,500 miles yesterday. I noticed that when the clutch is engaged (pedal not pressed) while sitting in my garage, there's a faint rattling/humming noise. As soon as I press the clutch pedal down, it goes away. It's in neutral the whole time. It's hard to pinpoint where it's coming from, but it seems to be coming from around where the clutch is. It's not super loud and I didn't actually notice it until now, but it is louder than any difference in sound between clutch in/clutch out that I've experienced in any other car.
The car has a 5 year warranty ending in a few months, so if this is an issue I want to get on it as soon as possible. I saw in the FAQ that other people have reported this, but that's all it said. Is it a fixable problem? If so what needs to be fixed?
Thanks for any input!

Wouldnt this be an input shaft bearing rather then the throwout bearing?

Thanks guys for the help! I was thinking input bearing as well but I wanted to make sure there wasn't normally some noise from it...it sounds like not so I'll take it in.

Mine has that hum too. Did a bit of research and the general consensus is that its the input bearing. No biggie, not bothered by it anymore and can't hear it unless i'm looking for it.
