Ratteling sound, over 4k rpm
A few weeks ago my oil cap came off, soon i got a I got a new one. After this happend I would notice a ratteling sound that I assumed was the old oil cap bouncing around somewhere. If it is still in there I can not see it from over the engine and still have not had a chance to get under the car. I am starting to suspect the noise is not form the cap though. I have noticed that the ratteling only happens when the car is in gear, when i rev it in neutral there is no sound. 
Also the is no sound when the car is in reverse. Any ideas as to what is going on? Thanks guys.

ahhh this happend to me too. it is on behind the engine on top the of transmission. it will be very hard to take it out. i had to get a clothes hanger, untwist it and had to take it out. took me like an hour.
