random misfiring
couple months ago i changed out my spark plugs... gapped at 0.043 or so.... anywayz about 3 months later it threw a cel cylinder 1 misfiring... i then check and re-gaped them all... couple months later starting hearing poping noises from my invidia v3 exhaust... 2 months later cel threw randon misfiring cylinder 1,2,3,4... i was thinking maybe i should replace just the l'st ignition coil since it threw a cel first.... cause i heard that one fires up before the other.... i know theres been plenty of discussion on this topic but help me if i'm wrong... or should i just replace them all...

I had a friend of mine pour some 87 octane gas in his audi A4 1.8T, and it showed these CEL codes, also idled rough. Check gas octane.
I ran out of gas, and before I stalled out CEL came on, and even though I don't know what the code(s) was, I'm pretty sure it was misfires also. Therefore, check fuel pressure.
Are you tightening the spark plugs correctly? the ones with the crush washer are torqued down differently from the ones without the crush washers. Check the tightening on the plugs, that the coils sit nice and tights, connectors click on, etc.
A friend of mine who did a whole mess of hondas in the '90's told me hondas don't like Bosch platinums. is that what you put in? Swap plugs.
good luck.

ngk 7rbke... i did torgue it down to specs...um... coil packs are fine...injectors are fine... my next guess is probably camshaft sensor and ecu... had a new ecu put in 1 year ago but highly dought thats the problem...and reason why is that my car got jacked... this car is giving me way too much problems with only 60k. so far blown up shocks, exhaust rattle, misfire issues, timingchain tensioner and who knows whats gonna be next... my 99 prelude sh had way more mods and never had any issue... maybe its time to move on with another car....its a great car but u know what i mean...tired of headaches...
