PCM update is for MY06 and newer.

What shop did the SoFla guys recommend to you to have the compression test done?

Since my airbox lid has been on (April 3rd). No CEL since over 600+ KM. It does seems to give me less frequent CEL's with airbox on.

I will probably get one shortly. If not I'm leaving everything as is.

March 15: after ~150 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
Change: Injector cleaner

March 17: after ~150 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
March 19: after ~150 KM CEL - In Between 2-3 shift (P0301 & P1399)
Change: Injector cleaner + Airbox lid on

March 25: after ~500 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301 & P1399)
change: Valve Adjustment & Testpipe install & Coil Switch from Cyl1 to Cyl2 + airbox lid off

March 27: after ~50 KM CEL - Coasting to a stop (P0301, P0302, P1399)
Marhc 28: after ~500KM CEL - In neutral (P0301,P1399)
April 1st: after ~100 KM Cel - In Neutral (P0301, P0302, P1399)
Change: PCV Valve & New OEM Spark Plug Cyl 1 replaced

April 3rd: after ~150 KM Cel - In Neutral (P0301, P0302, P1399)
Change: Air box lid back on

I was ok for a while, It was the longest time with no CEL and then...

Change: Intake snorkel
April 18: after ~1200 KM - In Neutral (P0301, P1399)
April 19: after ~50 KM - In Neutral (P0301, P0303, P1399)

Car runs fine. Seem to be getting misfire on Cyl 3 now too that I wasn't getting before. I really leaning towards injectors.

What is not the problem? Spark plugs (Gaping and torque), Coil (unless they are all bad), PCV Valve.

Next test: Injectors

Does this make sense?

well i just figured out my misfire problem. Symptoms were similar to yours. I also had a slight puff in the exhaust when idiling every 10 seconds or so. I would only misfire at idle. It turned out to be my injectors. My problem was cylinder 1 and 4. When i took out the injectors i found that 1 and four where wet from gas(around the electrical connector) this was due from the injector not being pushed all the way into the fuel rail (injectors did not come out with the fuel rail) I got used injectors and all new seals and it runs great now.

Injectors were replaced yesterday. I noticed better idle (no more little backfires).

I think I may have fixed the issue.

The issue is fixed. It was the injectors all along.

Bought 4 used injectors from a member here for 60$ shipped. Problem never came back.

Just updating the post

Glad it is fixed...but if you bought used injectors, it just means the problem will be back sooner than if you bought new.

Just want to update this thread since i see a lot of random misfires threads... I never got a cel after replacing my injectors. Now at 58 000 miles The used on I put in had 11 000 miles on them.

To anyone having similar issues, I noticed that the only thing that wasn't random was the slight pop from the exhaust on idle. It was always there but when I replaced the injectors it was normal again right away.

Cheers
