ya did you make the interview? I didn't know random drivers pulled over to keep cars from hitting you on the freeway. Maybe you could've called a friend to bring you gas? Since you weren't that far away.

I'm pretty sure the manual says regular can be used in a pinch but that you shouldn't load the engine hard until you get it out of the system.

So how'd the interview go? Were you late? Hope you got the job!
I have to say, I think the interview was worth the hassle. It went very well. They didn't hire me on the spot or anything but I'm pretty certain I should be hearing from them this week.

Good point, I really didn't even think about the hook. Honestly didn't even cross my mind at the time lol

next time let them put some regular in your car, geez,

not only can the s2000 run just fine on 87, but you're only putting in a couple gallons to get you to the gas station so you can fill back up on 91-93.

opting to be towed vs just putting gas in the car was foolish (even though you managed to get gas in the end).

The amount of gas in the reserve tank is spelled out in the owners manual.

The owner's manual is available free and online through HondaLink.

Strike 1: Running out of gas.
Strike 2: Having your car towed instead of using regular gas.
Strike 3: not knowing how to tow your car.

Sell yer car. kthxbye.

it's funny how different our gas gauges maybe. my light turns on when theres 2 stripes left on the gauge. I usually let all the stripes clear before i get gas and the tank still has 2 or 3 gallons left.

Won't a fuel filter full of crap also affect the amount of gas that can go in the tank?
