Radio won't give my CD back!
I went on a road trip yesterday to go see the Indycar races at TMS (240 miles away) and decided to take some CD's with me. I rarely go on long road trips in this car, so the CD player gets very little use. I put the first CD in and played it through. While it was on it's second go-around, I tried to turn it off and eject it for a new CD. But it wouldn't eject. It sounds like some clicking (or is that chewing?), but no CD comes out.
Obviously there is something wrong, but what is the fix? I can keep playing it, I just can't eject the CD. Any help?

It's a good opportunity to replace the factory unit with an aftermarket replacement. You can get the disc out by dissecting the factory unit. It certainly wouldn't be worth repairing given the low cost of a replacement unit. If you want to stay with a Honda stereo you can find lots of them in the fore sale or wtb forums.
I'll tell you how I felt like a loser with my last Honda's radio.
My head unit would short out and blow a fuse every time I hit a bump. I took it to Honda for a warranty repair and they found the head unit was full of coins, turns out my young son was using the cd slot as a piggy bank.

That's hilarious JFUSION. Thanks for cheering me up!
If my CD player is doomed, then I might not do anything about it. It would be nice to get my CD back though. I've never felt like listening to music was a priority in this car, but I get obsessed when something doesn't work right.

yes, there is help.
stick a 2nd cd in the slot angled downwards.
the stuck cd will glide over the 2nd cd and come out. like you're making a ramp for it.
you might have to stick it in and out...like the cd is having sex with the stereo unit...until the stuck cd kinda latches on and comes out.

reason why you have to stick it in and out is cuz when you stick the 2nd cd in, you might hit the top of the stuck cd...which doesn't help.
so by pulling it out and sticking it in again, you might get under the stuck cd, and that's what gets it out.
so you have to do it kinda fast, in out in out in out, until the cd comes out.
this is how i got my cd's out for like 6 months...then i got an aftermarket unit for bluetooth. i actually didn't mind my cd's getting stuck cuz i knew how to get it out within 10 seconds.

you don't have to pull all the way out...just back and forth...literally like the cd is having sex...and point it downwards.
Do you continue to push the eject button while doing this? That works sometimes with other things...
