I have not seen any threads detailing this procedure. You have to pull the instrument cluster to access the screws that hold that button in.

Didn't JohnS2k do this to his? I think it was him, can't remember.

Anyway, the job is not simple, the gauge does not drop in. I believe you need to make a whole new sheetmetal piece. You have to remove the other radio function buttons. All that will be left is engine start and the gauge. Those are the only two things that will fit.

Evo2000 had a bunch of gauges drilled into the passenger side dash. I don't care how ricey everyone said it looked, I think it looked awesome. But it does represent a significant investment if you ever want to go back to stock.

Other options are Science of Speed gauge pod? Or buy a standing cup for the gauge and have sit at the driver corner of the dash?

I was going to let it sit by the driver corner with a stand alone gauge cup but the AEM Serial gauge come with alot of thick Wire and I just wonder where I can hide the wire from

Not sure what a "serial" gauge is, but if it's anything like my AEM UEGO a/f gauge, I was able to squeeze the wiring between the A-pillar trim the the side of the top dash. Only a short piece of wiring that comes out the back of the gauge showed.
