Radiator overflow tank

Radiator overflow tank
Will a radiator overflow tank that is not vented and holds pressure work. The stock radiator overflow tank seems to be vented to allow antifreeze to go in and out. If you replace the stock overflow tank with one that holds pressure work on the car. I just can't seem to understand how a tank like that would work. If the radiator cap opens to allow fluid into the overflow tank, how is it going to get there without having a vent to relieve the air pressure that the fluid is taking up. May seem like a dumb question that why I am asking. It seems like the pressure has to be vented somewhere.
Thanks

Actually, it probably would just act as a higher pressure cap. The cap opens, to drop the pressure build up from the heated coolant, the coolant flows to the overflow, where the pressure doesnt escape so the pressure just climbs up. BAsically youre using a higher pressure cap.
Sounds like a bad idea to me, IMO.
