radiator noise?
When I'm decelerating, pushing light on the gas i hear a hissing sound. if i press on the gas half way in or all the way the noise goes away quickly. its kinda annoying.
I thought it might be the radiator or something. any ideas?
i read about the cluth replacement bulletin "Technical Service Bulletin 054" but I don't think its that because the clutch and tranny work great.

I believe you are experiencing the typical (and normal) intake induction noise. It is very air flow dependent and with just a little throttle, you make the airflow just right to produce the noise. If you take off the airbox cover, you should be able to hear it much louder and confirm this for yourself.

The Comptech lid is not that thick. It might still make a difference, though. Give it a try. And no, it's not that little hole for the hood prop that causes the noise. If indeed you have the induction noise, it is causes by air being sucked into the intake and as it travels to the throttle body. It works in conjuntion with manifold vacuum, breather hose, etc. That's why it's harder to duplicate it when you are just working the throttle from under the hood. You need the car under some load to make the noise.
BTW, it's normal, so don't get too concerned about it.
