my radiator cracked at the top is there anyway to fix it to hold off until I buy a new one? Also whats a good aftermarket radiator without breaking the bank?

I used the Wal-mart version of Mighty Puty. JB Weld makes a similar product. It looks like play-dough. I've used that to patch a friend's radiator for a 30 min highway drive home and then a bit of daily commuting until his new radiator could be installed.

You can pick up a Mishimoto for about $240... If you wanna upgrade Thermostat and Hoses at the same time, another $150, but not necessary.

mishimoto causes over cooling i hear
WTF is that? Please explain what overcooling is how it is caused by an upgraded radiator and the detriment it causes.
If you're talking about a thermostat being stuck open (or installed backwards) or air in the coolant system - that's a different story. But I don't see how an aftermarket radiator alone, all else being equal, could cause overcooling to the point that it's a problem.

^wouldnt it be better? As long as its hitting operating temp, which it should be..or the T-stat would shut til it hit op-temp again, it'll be making more power at the lowest "rec'd" operating temp.
