I have the radiator fan rattle. This rattle can be heard by tapping the radiator cap with the palm of your hand. Its getting worse and even more annoying. I've searched and found others have had this issue but thats where it ends.

Does anyone know of a possible DIY fix? I've read that some put shims in there but I dont see how that can be done. Help!

It was a bad bearing in the one I replaced on a Maxima... and a more expensive part than I expected. I don't think shims will fix it.
