Rotten teeth - I love it.
I have never had the small critter paranoia enough to want to add anything to the fornt of my cars. I just hose down the rad now and then.

Xviper, this is a great inexpensive idea. Can you suggest where I might be able to find the mesh material that you used? I live in Washington State and the closest thing that I have found is black nylon screen mesh, which is really flimsy and may be prone to melting. You said an outdoor fabric store, but I can't think of a place like that around here. I would appreciate any direction. Thanks.

I'm not familiar enough with your local retail sources. The store that sells this stuff here also sells material for making tents (canvass). They also sell outdoor clothing material like "Thinsulate" and waterproof fabric. Sorry, but that's about as much as I can tell you.
