I have spoke to them about it and there response was that the LSD in the S2000 is good enough that there is no reason for them to try to improve upon it.I think what happens with most of these diff failures you read about is that before the cap brakes it will stretch. By the cap stretching just a few thousands it will allow the gears to not mesh as they should and that causes the gears to fail. The gears may not brake at first but fracture causing fine cracks in the base of the gear teeth. When this happens the rear will make a thumping sound. When the gear finally brakes the rear will start to whine. If you pull the rear at this point the caps will still be intact and show no sign of failure but, if you keep driving complete failure will happen.
