I don't think I want to ride on them for 2 hours it takes to get there
I recommend not riding on your brakes for two hours all the way to the track.

Have we met the smart-ass reply quota for this thread yet? If not I've got more...

I didn't want to spend time at the track swapping pads... But if the squealing is gonna be that bad, I don't think I want to ride on them for 2 hours it takes to get there...
Dude, suck it up. I drove all the way from Seattle to Joshua Tree NP, then up to Laguna Seca, then back home to Seattle, all on track pads. They squeeked every single rev of the rear wheels, except when I was actually on the track. I'm still alive to tell the tale...

Yeah, Yeah... I've already swapped out the rears... The fronts are fine, went for a test drive to see how the braking was... Seemed fine, even cold. Only squeals when stopping...

The hawks just emitted a finger nails on blackboard type noise loud enough to hear when travling < 45 mph... It was really annoying... Only took about 30 minutes to swap them and I was using the factory jack. ... I should have a better one at the track...

I love when you come to a stop at a light, with the brakes squeeking like hell, and everyone's looking at you like you're a cheapass who bought a sportscar but can't afford brakes ...
