What brand did you order? usually NGks and denso are already gapped at .44

It never hurts to check them. They DO come pre-gapped, but a $1 gauge from Autozone will give you some peace of mind.

If they are OEM Honda (red box) they won't need gapping. Just check gap to be sure the plug was not dropped.

If you get NGK's (yellow box) the gap will be off, and you'll have to leave it.

Attempting to adjust the gap will fracture the platinum coating, causing plug failure. The fractured coating will also enter the cylinder and possibly score the bore.
