quick noob question: how many mi for oil change
sorry i know newbie question, but its different for different types of oil you put in. i was thinking 2500 mi intervals for oil change? am i right? thanks in advance

I do 5k intervals in my explorer and 3k in my bike. I know it's not an apples to apples comparison, but that's all I can say about Mobil1.
As for the S, I would recommend Amsoil if you drive a lot. I'd switch over to that because of it's 25k mile change interval, but it'll take me 4-5yrs to put on that many miles.

what you anyone say about someone who autocrosses or does occasional track days? i plan to be a lot more serious now that i have my S this year so probably at least 3 times a month autocrossing and 1 or 2 a mo. at the track. thanks

I have tracked mine and also autoX between 2 and 4 times a month. I still change my oil every 5,000 miles and use Mobil1.
