Questions on Honda MTF and Mobil 75W90
what's the mileage expectancy of the honda mtf and mobil synthetic gear oil?
i know on the toyota's they use extended life tranny fluid are the honda mtf the same and what about the gear oil?
i don't drive the car like a stole it, the car has never experience a drag launch, i don't speed shift the car even during redline, when the opportunities arise i'll drive it spiritedly but i never abuse the car. the car is driven 90% on the highway and i live in southern california...

sorry if it wasn't mentioned but since i'm replacing the differential fluid might as well change the tranny as well...
so, no one has has any experience or ideas based on normal driving how long these fluids will last? 20k, 30k, 40k?

some people change both every other oil change. some people change both every 30k miles. some people almost never change them.
honda's manual says to replace the transmission fluid at 105k miles.

the gear oil from the factory does anyone know what it is and is the mobil synthetic a lot better? also, anyone using the mobil has there been any weird noises or adverse affects switching to it?

i use either mobil 1 or lubrication engineers, whichever I have when i feel like changing the diff fluid. mobil 1's fine. no noise or adverse affects for me so far. cheap and easy to find.

trans fluid every 15k for a good shift honda mtf
hypoid 75-90 gl-5 reg or syntheticat least 15k. The diff fluid will be dark after 7500 miles
I would do it at these miles for daily driving. This is what i recommend for my customers so there car wil be safe and not to expensive.

with the engine oil i've been doing a 10k service interval (mobil synthetic) and i figured the the diff and tranny fluid would be good for 30-40k intervals based on my driving style.
