before you install set one end on floor between feet and "exercise" the shock.. in and out. for like 10minutes approx 100+ in's out's
the shocks are just fir because the fluid has been sitting there for a while not moving. and needs to be loosened up.. also HOT weather will casue them to move easier..
try that and see what happens.. mine first time were ultra stiff and bonnet didnt wanna close
