I recently acquired a MUZ/Whiteline Front Strut Bar and was hoping that someone who has one mounted could tell me how you were able to get the mounting bracket that is on the driver's side strut to clear the cruise control actuator cable.

I have a MY2001 Silverstone. I'm adding the Whiteline Strut bar to go along with my SPEED X-brace.

The only thing is that it appears the cable could go through the bracket if I disconnected it and routed it through. This doesn't seem like it would be the right method, however. I'd be worried about abrasion on the cable from the metal on the bracket.

I'm hoping someone can send me a pic of their install or offer advice.

Mine hit my bar so I just put a bunch of electrical tape on the cable where it contacts the STB. No problems for 2 years now.
