Tell them you want a lifetime guarantee with that $1200 repair that the noise will never return.
They would be doing you chain and guides again in less that one year.
New sprockets, guides, chain, and TCT will cure it temporarily.
TCT noise comes down to engine dynamics. Basically, your chain is slightly looser that most, and once those new parts settle in you will be back to where you are right now.
If you can change a tire, you can change a TCT plain and simple.
They would be doing you chain and guides again in less that one year.
