I personally don't recommend that anyone mod their car if they're concerned about the warranty.

A trick I have learned is find the best s2k mechanic at the dealer and become his friend. Everytime you take your car to the dealer schedule the work with him. Yes, even oil changes. These guys are like sub-contractors. They get paid by the bill-able hour. When work is slow they will appreciate the work. Also if they take care of your "baby" then if you want tip them. I usually give my guy a $10-$20 tip everytime I go in for service. He will be more likely to overlook your mods and make sure things are done right, covered underwarranty, and the car won't have the guts kicked out of it by some punk ass shop boy while your not there. This may seem like paying for service twice; but, to me it's like tipping the waitress for not spitting in your food.

I spoke with Warranty Gold a few months back, they would cover a SC'ed S2000. For some reason, the fact that I had the dealership install it seemed to be the kicker, or else it would not have been able to be covered.

Having it warrantied is a nice thing to have with the S2000...I wonder if Vortech will fall under this as well.
