question reguarding Hesitation w/ vortech?
I have been noticing that when I am driving at low rpm's, every once in a while (usually 3rd gear below 3500 rpm) if I am driving at a constant rpm and let off the gas just very slightly the car will kinda hesitate and almost kinda sputter. When it startes to do that if I leave the car at the same rpm it will stop doing it within a few seconds, or if I give it gas it goes away right away. Any ideas on why it does this?? It is really hard to explain. Anyone else notice anything like this? Thanks!

Mine did this exact same thing and does it every once in a while but not lately, though. I think it's because right at about 3500 is where there is a transition into "significant" boost (or departing from boost if you're dropping rpm's). This might cause the MAP sensor a bit of confusion just momentarily at certain times when the MAP electronics (from Vortech) doesn't quite do its thing fast enough. I believe my car has "learned" what's going on and it hasn't done it for quite some time now. I wasn't worried about it as it is quite understandable with the addition of boost that some things will give the ECU the occasional "brain fart".

It happens quite often on forced induced Honda running peggy back electronics. Have you driven a turbo charged B series with all the add-on electronic assisting the poor ECU from seeing boost and controlling the larger than stock injectors? Vortech did a great job hiding it compare to some " things" I have test drove.

Cool thanx guys
I had never heard anything about this so I was kinda worried. Which belt was loose ROX?? The supercharger belt or your alternator/ac/water pump belt??

Me too. I notice it once in a while when I first accelerate, a slight hestitation or stumble. I know I am running rich and can't do anything about it until my harness arrives for the VAFC. PT
