Default Question for AEM CAI owners

I've had my aem in now for about a year and when i put my stock exhaust back on i notice that the intake is quieter compared to when i first installed it. I also notice that the transition into vtec is also quieter. My car sounds stock...does anybody else see this in their's.

I seriously doubt it is any quieter. I think you are just remembering how loud it seemed when you first installed it, and got used to it. Whenever I ride in a stock S2000, it soulds puney.

I drove my 03 stock for a few weeks before i got my AEM cai. Once i put the cai on i noticed a BIG difference in sound. I doesnt sound stock to me at all.

If you've found some way to make a tuba sound like a trumpet, please share.

I drove my '01 for about 8 months before the AEM CAI. Since installing the CAI, the car sounds better, has better response, and (this is no bull) recently got slightly over 30 MPG running 70-80MPH from Pittsburgh to Baltimore on Exxon gas.
