Default Question About A Rev Hard Stage 2 Kit

heres my question.. i'm looking for more power, but not 400+ hell,300 to the wheels is enough for me. can i buy this kit, which runs at 7psi, bump it down to 6 or 5 and not have to deal with all the turbo probelms? i'm talking leave it on the stock ecu and injectors or will i absoluly have to upgrade. i do have a untuned vafc if i need some correcting.

what's in the kit??? the one on ebay?

Use: Street/Track
Part #: RHSTGII
MSRP: $4,999.00 Boost Level: 7psi
Injector Size: Stock
Horsepower/Torque: +120 / 285 ft/lbs

it's ok... you are looking at 300-320rwhp
you should rather look for ultimate racing... i haven't heard anything about this kit

Rev Hard Cast Iron Manifold
Rev Hard NUTEC T3/T04E Hybrid Turbo
Turbo efficient to 450hp
Rev Hard Intercooler 28x6.5x3
NEW Turbo Smart 7psi. (TS-SEMA's Best Product for 2002)
Vortec Blow Off Valve
2.25" Aluminized Mandrel Bent Piping
2.5" Downpipe
Billet Map Diffuser (check valve)
Rev Hard FC (Fuel Controller)
Silicone Oil Line
Oil Return Line
High Pressure FueHoses & Clamps
Steel Braided -3l Line
High Pressure Silicon Hose
Necessary Vacuum Tee's
Necessary Vacuum Lines

you can run at 6-7psi but this is made for stock... so you can run at 7psi... but you'll still have turbo problems... i don't believe there are that many PERFECTLY running turbos.

The highest RWHP ive seen on this board are from properly tuned Vortech SC not Comptech's

The Rev hard kit should be suffice for 270 - 300 RWHP.... I dont like the idea of the 2.25 piping .. bit too small if you wanna upgrade your RWHP.....
No one has purchased this kit and actually given feedback so if you do get it make sure you tell us folks out here how you like it... Rev Hard is a very established company and have been manufacturing turbo kits for other hondas for some time now.... you should be ok.....
Good luck.. maybe I'll see you in philly sometime.... might do some pull from light to light

Elda Engineering is fabricating a low boost (6psi i think) carb legal kit. It's supposed to give you 75hp to the wheels. It looks like a really good set up.

Yep the Elda Kit was +72HP at 5PSI....if I recall they have upped the boost to 6PSI and there should be an increase in whp there. We'll see...kit's not out yet

...isn't Sideway's running a comptech? I think he's the highest at 362rwhp right?

Edit: scratch that...he's Vortech....couldn't tell from pic...at any rate I doubt there's a significant difference in blower eff....which would make one SC kit more powerfull than another...

haven't heard much about the rev hard turbo, haven't even seen dyno sheets. but there are a lot of other turbo kits out there also.. Inline-pro, ultimate racing, speedcraft all have turbo kits.. and the elda kit is in the august super street mag. it's got heat sheilds all over the damn place hehehehe. but it's supposed to be very efficient...
