question about oil pressure with sc and oil jet upgrade
alright my car is an ap1 00. i have an oil cooler with -10 lines. a comptech supercharger with aftercooler and i updated the oil cooler jets. i run 10-40 royal purple hps so after installing the gauge which is a plx devices. so cold start up 60 psi warm idle 16-18 psi at 4000 rpm cruising down the highway 75 psi floor it pressure drops to 65 psi and seems like that's about as high as it got. checking the min-max setting on gauge showed a peak of 85 psi but i never saw that so should i be worried is there any oil pump mods to increase pressure seems like its regulated or all this stuff on the oil circuit is dropping oil pressure.any advice on this would be appreciated thanks

the updated oil jet bolts will drop the warm idle pressure #'s out of spec compared to the shop manual listings, but that is normal.

The throttle should have no effect on the oil pressure. RPM's yes(up to the oil pump bypass spring pressure), where the throttle is NO. If the oil pump is going into bypass than you can increase your oil pressure at higher rpm's. This would not do anything for the oil pressure at lower rpm's, over time the spring that controls the oil pump bypass can lose some of it tension and that will give you lower oil pressure in the higher rpm's.
