Default question about oil change

my 06 s2k, when oil life drop to 15%, it will show on the dash, so if i change oil by myself, would the dash still says oil life 15% if i dont reset the computer? OR it will back to 100% automatically ???

You have to manually re-set.

IIRC, turn the key to turn the car on, but don't start the engine. Hold down the trip button until it flashes.

^ You're missing the last step to resting the maintenance light.

For ap2 06 and above follow these steps:

-> Put key in ignition
-> Press trip button until "oil life %" appears on the display
-> Hold down trip button until it starts to flash
-> Release the button
-> Hold trip button again until it resets.
