I've been looking at the Mugen CF airbox conversion and wondered if anyone had it, and what they thought.. My main reason for this is I have heard that the car functions better with an airbox rather than with a CAI... any thoughts?

I was kind of wondering the same thing. What exactly is so special about this setup that it warrants a $1500 price tag. I have never heard of any intake setup being that expensive.

Define "function". The OEM air box will be quiet, but slightly more restrictive than some other options, and will be more effected by heat.

The Mugen CAI is expensive for 2 reasons:
1) It's Mugen
2) It's high quality Carbon Fiber
