Question about Fumoto valve

Question about Fumoto valve
For those of you who've purchased and installed the fumoto valve, did you get the adapter also? If you go to "Check Size" for Honda cars, the website says "('98-on Accord, Prelude, S2000 w/4cyl. engine requires adapter ADP-106)", but if you click on the ADP-106 adapter itself, it only says "('98-on Accord requires adapter ADP-106)" and doesn't mention the S2000 or Prelude. So, I'm a little confused and assume I have to get both the valve and adapter, but I just want to make sure the adapter really is required before I place my order.
Also, does anyone who uses the fumoto valve have any negative experiences? Thanks for your help!

I have the Fumoto valve and adapter installed in my car and I like the way it eases oil changes.
As stated earlier, it is easy to overtorque the adapter, so be careful.

The Fumoto valve assembly itself is available with or without a nipple. I chose to get the one with a nipple to better clear my under-chassis x-brace and make oil draining neater. If you don't have an x-brace it doesn't matter much unless you want to attach a hose to the drain.
