Ceramic coating is the best!! It gets harder the hotter it gets and is more bullet proof than powder (almost the same aplication process) Cost is in line with powder coating

Greg
I agree if you are using stock, but my 10 piston Tarox stop me just fine regardless. Sorry I should have specified, besides most people are going for the look, the majority does not race, so the solution works well
IMHO

Do you really think that a bonded coating would work as an insulator holding in heat? I have no real knowledge of the thermodynamics involved but would have guessed that it makes no appreciable difference, and if there is it would apply to paint the same way.

I have a question. Does anybody know what the calipers are made of? If they're aluminum I may try to polish mine. I did this on my Trans Am and it was ALOT of work, but it turned out so good I may be willing to do it on my S2000. So if any of you guys can give me a heads up on the material of the caliper and bracket I'd greatly appreciate it!

All parts are iron/steel of some sort. If you polish them it will result in a nice rust without treatment.

Actually MC,
I was laughing at your wrinkly seats
But seriously, I'll screw up the badges while you perfect the calipers.

I guess we'll just have to enjoy the process of screwing up our cars as much as the final product
