check out the Do it yourself (DIY) thread on the valve clearance adjustment, do a search. You need to use the proper feeler guages for the intake and exhaust clearances, having the Honda adjustment tool makes it much easier. If you can't get it right have a Honda dealer do it for you, it's better than running improper clearances, you can burn a valve if you don't get it right.

this one isn't too bad for a reference, but make sure you read my reply on page 3, there was an error on the first page and my reply on page three corrects the error with respect to order of adjustment and it gives you further information on how to line up the camshaft timing marks for greater accuracy. hth.

ok guys... sorry to bother you all again but unfortunately ive been trying to make this work for the past couple of days and just cant. Or i leave them to close or to open.. i also made my own tool and well i just cant adjusted.. to what do you all have them measured? I saw dat it says that the once from the intake should b at .008 - .010...and the exhaust at .010 - .011.... but unfortunatly i just cant get them right.. what measurements do you guys have? what else can I do to adjust them? I normally with other cars adjust them by turning the engine on but on these cars i cant since of the sensors.. Please help! im going crazy on this lol....

the faq should have everything you need to know. if you are still confused then you are not reading it thouroughly enough. also you def cant adjust valves on a overhead cam motor while its running, heck on any motor for that matter.

do you have a feeler gauge? do you have the respective piston at top dead center while trying to adjust the valves above it? it seems you dont have a full grasp on what is required for this job. i would recommend re reading the faqs and if its still confusing, trailer it somewhere to have it done for you. its not somthing you wanna just wing it and hope for the best.
