Default Putting in OEM spark plugs

I just purchased oem spark plugs from the marketplace and was wondering if there is anything I should be aware of. I'm assuming I just torque them to 18 lbft, but do I need to do anything with the gap? Thanks in advance.

I would at least check the gap against the recommended gap space in the helms service manual.

OEM plugs should come pre-gapped but check them to make sure. When I checked mine they were all .044

Put anti-seize on the threads before you put them in.

i agree with x/vp to use anti sieze, i use it also.

just be careful not to over torgue.

torque values are always for clean, dry, un-lubed threads. anti-sieze also lubes the threads.

I thought they changed the torque spec.. or is 18lb-ft the new spec?

Just make sure you don't overtorque them. I do not know the specs off hand but adding lube will often decrease the amount of torque you need.
