another way is just leave your car running and swap battery.. i know u can do it in older cars. but not sure bout newer cars.. havent tried yet hehe

This doesn't sound like a good idea. Modern cars have much more sophisticated electronics than old cars. In particular, I think the voltage regulating systems on the alternator need to "see" a battery to function properly.
