Default Putting In a Megan Racing SS 4-2-1 header

I'll be putting in a SS Megan Racing 4-2-1 header in a few weeks. Any tips or things to look out for when installing it? Anyone have this header and noticed any power increase?

I didn't really notice anything with my megan header but at $350 shipped it isn't a total loss, more of a bling item to me....but yea I took the old header from the bottom and was able to slip the megan header in from up top...overall it was pretty easy....

We don't know until someone dynos it. The primaries are a larger two inch from what has been posted on here. They are larger than most so far.

You can laugh but we should have some insight before we roll on the floor laughing.

Doesn't really matter what brand it is. It's still just a header. Install is similar from one brand to another.

Oh, and I also forgot to mention I'll be throwing in a Hondata intake gasket to replace my stock gasket and Im gonna wrap my header with thermal wrap. So the header plus these 2 things should make a decent difference right?

What do you call "decent"? Some would even say header wrapping is not such a good thing as it changes the heat flow and distribution of the exhaust gases in a detrimental way. The Hondata intake gasket insulates your intake manifold from the head and stops the hot engine coolant from going into the throttle body and Idle Air Control system. Insulating it is a good thing in that it will not rob your engine of the power it normally should have. Stopping the coolant flow into the TB might cause poor warm-up. Lack of coolant flow in and out of the IAC have been known to result in sporadic idle.
"Decent"? Well, I guess you'll soon find out.

IMO,not worth all the work and trouble.
You would be a lot better off, with a Megan test pipe(I have one.!see,I don't hate Megan.) for a mere $100.00 and 15 minutes job.!!!
