Maybe its the MIL indication? Per my Haynes manual, P1456 (90) Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System (see page 11,135) ?

Yeah to be honest, I had a very hard time finding the exact one for 90. I knew it was EVAP related but couldnt find the exact one...I don't even know how I pinned it to that one lol.
Now onto serious things. No I haven't been driving thousands of miles. Yes it has been to work and back. ~500ish miles and I had (seemingly) gone through two quarts of oil. I put two quarts in two weeks ago because it was reading below low...which brought it to high, and then added another 2 quarts a couple days back when it was back to low again. Call me crazy, but this is how it has been. Like I said, no smoking or oil coming from the tail pipes. My first clue to all of this was that the car was running like crap 3 weeks ago, and I did the whole sensor whack with a screwdriver and things cleared up. The CEL came back, and thats when I pulled the code today.
So assuming it is EVAP related (i'll head up to autozone in the next day or two to make sure), what am I looking at? Is this oil usage related to that? Or should I be crying right now and looking for another engine/car......
Further, what would be a common fix for an EVAP problem?

As far as oil consumption goes, I don't really know. How do you check it? Do you check it the same way everytime? That does seem like too much of a difference to be from checking it at different temps, but like I said I don't really know.

2 qts in 500 miles is TERRIBLE! However, this type of consumption would result in a badly smoking exhaust or a big pool of oil under the car where you park. More investigation is necessary. I would suggest you do a HOT oil level check on level ground.
Ensure the engine has reached operating temps for some time. 1/2 hour to 1 hour continuous engine operation ought to do it. Stop on level ground, turn off engine and immediately pull out the dipstick. Wait about 3 minutes to allow for reasonable drain back, then shove the stick in and pull it out for a read.
You can also do a cold check. Checking oil level shouldn't be rocket science but it seems it's not always done right. I've posted about a way to get consistent reads here:
