Yes, closer to 600 then 800. At least for the first GB, and then we will see.

Click here for a larger DNYO chart Note: This one is HUGE
Sounds good, getting in line for the GB

The large dyno plot helps, but the AFR chart is still unreadable. Did you get the Dynojet datafile from the shop? If you have the data file, then you can use the free Dynojet Runviewer to create a more meaningful graph. For example, you can zoom in on the range from 85 HP at 4K RPMs to 200 HP at 9K RPMs for the power plot, then zoom in on 11.0 to 14.0 on the AFR graph. AFRs are important since you can see how tuning would benefit both before AND after. From what I can see in your AFRs, it appears that the AFR goes rich (in the 10s) with the new header at the same point that the header's power plot drops below the baseline plot. It may be that fuel tuning could prevent the new header from losing power anywhere.

If you have the datafile, you can email it to me, and I'll put up a much better graph.

I see that the plot is for the uncorrected numbers. Any chance you have or could get the SAE corrected plot? I'd be more interested to see SAE numbers.

Good point. SAE numbers may actually show better gains since the temperature in Houston was rising steadily throughout last week.

I have been driving on this for the week, so far it feels like the mugen it replaced. But I don't have that many miles on it yet. I will keep the header on the car for the month of Jan, then it will be removed.

On the SAE corrections, you are right, the numbers are not corrected. Houston is at sea level and it was a cool day (for Houston) when we did the runs. The humitity level was high, as it always is in Houston. I am sure that had an impact on the sessions as well. all in all we spent 5 hours on the Dyno to get this testing done. We tested a few other things while we were at it.

gernby, I have requested a copy of the dyno files. I will let you know if/when I get them.

Can your header be wrapped in Thermal Wrap to help reduce the heat in the engine cavity? I've read that different sets of headers will crack from insulated heat, especially where the welds are.

Header wrap will shorten the life of ANY header. Considering this is a prototype header, there isn't any way to know how badly it would be effected.
