Hey folks, I have a new propshaft to install in my car, and I don't have access to my shop manual.

How do I identify which end is the transmission end?

It's the side opposite to the side that has the weights on it, or on AP1's the side that houses the smaller bolts. AP2's use the same bolts so you look at the shaft and whatever side has the weights is the differential side.

Weird, I think the one I got has weights on both ends. There's a painted stripe and a label "L" on one end though...

It has a raised area on the ends that fit into the corresponding flanges on the trans and diff

ap2 propshaft will only physically fit 1 way, ap1 propshaft can go on either way
