Proper break in for new '07

I just bought an 07 as well, and I'm too lazy to read the manual. From what I read in the forum and what the Sales guy said keep it under 6k for 600 miles. It's killing me that I haven't felt the vtech kick in.

Yea, and I'm sure that anyone who test drove that car didin't redline it.

I would say the more important break in is for the clutch as opposed to the engine.

600miles below 6K at varied speeds would seat it nicely, and then drive the snot out of it after. That would be MY approach.
