prop shaft play

prop shaft play
So over the past 2 months i've had big issues with my s2000. Brought it to a tranny shop to get it teared down, the rear bearings looked worn pretty bad, the races had marks.
the prop shaft is spitting greese, seems whatever kept the greese in is gone. I can get a little play if i move the prop shaft while its still connected on the dif end. Is that normal?
the car has a horrid blown rear end were every rotation i get a massive chunk.
drained the diff and i have pinches of metal at the end.
So blown diff and a bad prop shaft, or just a blown diff?
what happened, i used mobile fluid, i do drive a bit hard, but nothing insane, no 9k drops. or any drops actually.

There's a lot more play in the S2000 driveshaft than I've ever seen in any other car. It's normal, but not optimal. It's what causes that cyclic jerking you get sometimes at low pedal pressure and low speeds.
