Default Prolly a Stupid Question....

What size is the replacement K+N air filter for an AEM CAI? (cheap) on-line source?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you are getting at? Why do you need a new one?

I'm sure that you can just pick up a cone filter on E-bay cheap, but dont forget you get what you pay for. I would reccomend going down to your local performance shop amd making sure you get teh proper filter. Some are better then others, and definately staw away from foam filters.

cthree, I want one to clean and one to install...(clean one standing by)

Does that sound too anal...?

It's an AEM CAI...I thought you "Under the Hood" guys would have this nailed...

That's why I titled the thread as I did...

Doesn't K+N go by the diameter of the downpipe....I think it's in MM's...Would that be a starting point?

These filters don't last forever, do they?

Tri the apex-i power filter... I think that's what it's called. It might be a bit pricey for a replacemnt filter, but it works great.

Well, the filter will probably outlast the life of your car (beings people go through them so fast now-adays. Secondly if that's all you need it for, it only takes less then 30 mins to clean it. You can take off the filter and wash it and get it oiled up and tehn let it sit while washing your car. No need to spend more $$ on a filter that may not fit.

Hope that helps
