Default Problems with front shocks

Hello,

I have a leaking front drivers side shock. I have a few questions.

1) My S2000 is actually a 1999 model but I can only find year 2000 replacement shocks. Will these do?

2) Do I need to replace both off and near side even tho near side is fine??

3) What is the best place to get shocks from without going through Honda Dealers in UK??

4) What are those bars accross the engine called which suppose to help handling and will these fit on any make of shock??

I am new to the S2000 scene and with apologies am absolutely useless at anything technical.

Thanks

You should be fine witha MY2000 shocks.

I would recommend you replace both and not just one at a time for a more even ride and better handling.

The "strut tower bar" goes across the engine is pretty much useless but some people say they notice the improvements.

If you want to improve stiffness, buy an X-brace.
