Default Problem with rebuilt engine

Hi guys,
I rebuilt my F20C with new piston rings, connecting rod bearings and head work. The car now has 900 miles. The problem is when I decelerate at a red light, I can see a big cloud of white/blue smoke from the exhaust pipe, it continues at idle and stops after approximately 30 second after I left the light, as if there was an accumulation of oil in the cylinders and it took some time to burn everything. This problem started when the engine has reached about 700 miles. The oil and coolant level has not dropped. The car performs well and there is no smoke when I accelerates up to 9k. No deceleration, no smoke. Does anyone have an idea of the problem?

thanks!

The issue is going to lie in the head work. What did you have done? Sounds like a bad valve stem seal. Leaking oil right into the cylinder

Thanks for the fast reply!
The mechanic changed the seals valve stem. Can he have done wrong? Or broke one during installation? He also check all valves and seats.

Thanks guys for quick reply!

I just talked to my mechanic and he told me that if the valve seals were bad there would be blue smoke when I start the engine in the morning. But in my case, no smoke. Is it possible that bad valve seals do not cause smoke in the morning?

For my part I do not think the piston rings are the problem. The engine now has 1800 km and the oil level has not dropped.

hatchhero:
I used oem pistons rings and for rod bearing I used Clevite high performance. I rebuilt the engine because I paid 1k with transmission included. I did a leak down test and cylinder # 3 needed a valve job. So I decided to change the rings and rod bearings, because I did not know the condition of the engine. I did everything myself so it did not cost me a lot of money.
