i put all hardware (nuts/bots) on loosely and then lowered the car completely on all four tires, i then went ahead and torqued all fasteners to spec, some are harder to get to than others and some require lots of strength from unusual positions but all are possible to be torqued on all four tires.

others may have the car up on jack stands and then use a jack to push the suspension up, simulating the load of the car on the springs/struts. i think it is more consistent to just lower it completely like i mentioned in the first run on sentence. i did it my way with the eibachs and it all came out perfect.

oh yeah, at least with my eibachs the FRONT was lower (a finger gap) and the back was higher (i think two or two and a half finger gap). after a few days it settled to a half finger in the front and 1.5 fingers in the rear. the eibach pro kit is just a one inch drop...

preloading should ALWAYS be done when doing suspension work like that.
